Meet the Photographer

Kia ora, I’m Andrew Malmo

Photography prints from 30 years of exploration

Over my time as a professional photographer, I’ve travelled the world, finding startlingly beautiful places and spaces. My passion is for landscape and architecture – capturing the essence of a structure or location with light, colour and texture.

As a small child, I made a camera out of cardboard and drew ‘photos’ of my parents. My first camera was a Kodak Instamatic, which I bought second-hand for $12. That was the start of a non-stop journey of photographic discovery, refining my skills and sharing my passion.

Now, for the first time, I’ve brought all my favourite images together in one curated collection, available for purchase.

Choose a print that conjures a dear memory of a favourite place or adds drama and colour to your home or office.

About the prints – printing, framing, delivery

Your print will be carefully crafted by hand in your choice of two kinds of paper and size, and either framed or unframed.

Choose your size

Our prints come in the following size options:

  • 12 x 8 inches / 305mm x 203mm  – similar to the size of an A4 sheet.
  • 18 x 12 inches / 457mm x 305mm – similar to the size of an A3 sheet.
  • 12 x 12 inches / 305 x 305mm - for the square format images only.

Framing

Our frames are handmade to order in New Zealand from high-quality, recyclable materials. The frame moulding profile is 25mm wide x 33mm deep and available in a range of contemporary colours, with a mat board around the print in either black or white. Glass is UV exhibition glass.

Paper – Lustre or fine art cotton rag

Depending on your preference, you can choose between two high-quality paper options.

On Lustre paper, your print will look like a clean, crisp photograph, the perfect mix of glossy and matte — a finish refined over many decades by Kodak.

Mould-made, 310gsm 100% cotton-rag paper is ideal for fine art prints, with conservation-standard inkjet printing and a beautiful, smooth matte finish.

Delivery

If you’ve ordered just the print, allow three to five working days and for framed prints, ten working days.

Shipping takes one to two days within New Zealand, two to three days to Australia and North America and three to four days to Europe.
